Hello Diary,

Still dealing with change here as change, in many forms are ongoing (dealing with winter’s snow last week, spring’s thunderstorms this week), but “learning how to dance in the rain” so instead using today’s technology and working together with others, hopefully I  can help make this world a better place for everyone (and myself), at the same time not preventing someone from following their dreams and I can still follow mine , “Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” (Barack Obama ) … 🙂

So I have been waking up every morning (grateful that I woke up on the green side of the grass) with a open mind and a heart full of hope, understanding and love and try to follow my dream , and while fine tuning and adjusting to change, I took the time to browse the world, to gather knowledge of what were transpiring… to my dismay I find elements of today’s world societies filled with closed minded prejudice to those folks who seem different and simply trying to follow their dream, and rather than working together with wisdom and understanding, in some cases choose violence and conflict to settle differences and disputes…accomplishing little, other than sowing the seeds of hate, suffering, anger, fear… 🙂

 

I often ask myself “Why can’t the world be like Yanni’s orchestra and be together in harmony??”.. 🙂 Well, I didn’t browse the world too long for “ I am currently attending the School of Life, learning more about the universe and me… and Graduation Day will be the day of my funeral and it is then I will know if I failed or I succeeded and graduated”… (Larry “Dutch” Woller) and will continue to learn about the universe, myself and others until the last moment… 🙂

And in spite of the challenging times, we will continue to have hope!!.. 🙂

Hello Diary,

Bringing the week to a close…it has been a busy week, dealing with life’s challenges and changes,  “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past and present are certain to miss the future.” (John F. Kennedy), adjusting the way I do some things, decide on what I am unable to do and still able to follow my dream…… the weather and climate has a difficult  time deciding on whether it is spring or winter, each day is a bit of uncertainty but here on the path  just adjust the sails, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”. (Author Unknown)… 🙂

Continuing changes on the internet and websites (including WordPress), mainly in the area of security… what may work today may not work tomorrow..the key is to have patience and not overdo or make rash changes so my amount of time on the internet is uncertain also, but the time I have I make sure  I am able to share with others in a civilized and understanding manner and hopefully not have a negative impact on others or stand in the way of  their dreams… 🙂

Sad to say, there are those who resist and deny change, even resorting to conflict “There is none so blind as he who will not see” (Ray Stevens),  but hopefully one day wisdom will reign supreme and everyone can follow their dreams of who they are without fear or prejudice… 🙂

It’s all about a change in attitude, “When someone tells you “you’ve changed”, it might be because you have stopped living your life their way” (John Pence)…. right Jimmy??.. 🙂

Decided to have a quiet Valentines Day, got off the world, meditating a bit and connecting with me, myself and I… I did so by coloring (with colored pencils) while listening to one of my favorite orchestras; Yanni… 🙂

Yanni and I share the same thoughts!… “The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.”.(Jiddu Krishnamurti )… 🙂

I have been ask in the past what I thought of what the word friend and friendship means… I am fortunate that I have many friends with who I can share dreams, memories and help make this world, and mine, a better place.. “Life gives us brief moments with another, but sometimes in those brief moments we get memories that last a lifetime, So live that your memories will be part of your happiness.” (Author Unknown)…well, after giving it some thought, perhaps Adam Clarke and Abba say it best..  🙂

Hello Diary,

Briefly stopping my venture down the path to share a few thoughts.. Managed to deal with the worst of the weather relatively unscahted, thankfully the worst wasn’t a bad as some places… although there has been some moderation in the weather, unfortunately more winter is yet to come, but “I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning how to sail my ship.”  (Louisa May Alcott) … 🙂

That being said, in the near future Valentines Day will arrive here on the prairie… Valentines Day is suppose to be a day of showing love and kindness for another by way of giving gifts, etc. … here on the path Valentines Day is every day…  as I have mentioned often in the past, there are folks that I share time and funds with on a monthly basis (if not more often) to help others realize their dreams… there are folks that I share knowledge with so they may help others deal with weather, climate, disease,  etc. … and there are things I do here on the path in an effort to hopefully not negatively impact the lives, hopes and dreams of others…. doing this while asking for nothing in return….  🙂

 

And there are gifts that come from the heart… 🙂

Taking a break from dealing with life’s challenges and changes taking place here on the path, especially on the internet.. what worked yesterday may not work today and what worked today may not work tomorrow… or as T.S. Eliot said; “For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice, and to make an end is to make a beginning.” (T.S. Eliot)..  But, as Jean de La Bruyere said;  “No road is too long for him who advances slowly and does not hurry, and no attainment is beyond his reach who equips himself with patience to achieve it.” (Jean de La Bruyere ), so with patience and adjusting the sails as I need, it is on down the path I go to continue to follow my dream…  🙂

I see change ongoing throughout the world also, some not so pleasant and many suffer because of it…  rather that turn a blind eye to the issues, with patience and understanding I try to  work with others to help everyone to a better world so they too can follow their dreams.. and  what we do may seem small and there may be times when we feel like we are doing it alone, but together we can make a difference and make  the world a better world for everyone.. “We may not have it all together but together we have it all” (Author Unknown)…  🙂

 

The new year has arrived and

As I contemplate the tomorrows,

Leaving with some memories filled with happiness
