Hello Diary,

I have been away for awhile as I have been dealing with change this past week, adjusting the sails,  mainly with the internet as many websites deal with security and unwanted destructive posts… it is sad that with all the knowledge and technology the world possesses, instead of helping to build a better world, elements of today’s world societies use their knowledge and technology against another simply because another chose to follow their heart and take their own path and is different… 

I see no reason why the world cannot live together in harmony while one has the freedom to follow their own dream without fear and prejudice…  🙂

 

I am a mere mortal in a very large and mysterious universe, therefore I do not have the knowledge to judge or dictate (nor do I wish to) another’s belief or path they choose… I believe there is a saying “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and I would like to think one would simply accept me as I am as I do others..  🙂

And I do not let another’s reality or ideology determine the path I take, but choose to venture down the path my way (independent, not into faith based ideologeis, etc.), and following my heart with a open mind… 🙂

 

And by doing so, my path is paved with peace… 🙂 And it is paved with love… That being said, “Welcome”… 🙂

I live in a not so secret garden
Along the path least traveled,
Quite unlike the other world
A world that appears unraveled.

A garden of peace and harmony
Being different does not matter here,
All creatures, big and small, living together
Unlike the other world,  they do not live in fear.

It is a place where one is accepted as who they are

Hello Diary…

Still dealing with change here and change, in many forms, are ongoing, and by using today’s technology and working together we can make this world a better place, “Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” (Barack Obama ) … so I wake up every morning with a open mind and a heart full of hope, understanding and love and follow my dream…  🙂

In history’s past, on the path, I had a dream
Of a world in harmony it did seem,
Accepting one as to who they believe and are
One’s life’s choices no one did bar.

Free to climb a mountain, to touch a star
Free to search the universe, where answers are,
Free to venture through life, with open mind
Another’s belief, it did not blind.

Free to boldly walk the lands, both far and near
To lives one’s life without suffering or fear,
Not to be accepted by belief, gender or race, you see

And even though, as individuals,  our dreams (of who we are and wish to be) may take a different path, together there is much we can do and what we do may seem small at first glance, but “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” ( Mother Teresa) …  and there may be times when we may feel like we are doing it alone, but together we can make a difference and make 2023 a better year and the world a better world for everyone.. “We may not have it all together but together we have it all” (Author Unknown)…  🙂

 

And here on the path, and throughout the universe, we can continue to follow our dream filled with hope, and give hope to others so they too can follow and realize their dream…:)

HOPE IS

Hello Diary…

Have been very busy, near done getting the path ready for the new year and new adventures.. the old normal is a memory and the new normal is starting to take shape but still a mystery…  I have been ask in the past why I always think positive.. well, the negative is a part of my life but only briefly as I contemplate the negative and what is needed to adjust the sails, then it is back to the positive…  🙂

I developed that attitude while doing what I can to help others (while staying in the background) who are less fortunate or having difficulty dealing with life’s challenges… I watched as those folks confront those challenges with courage, positive determination  to follow their dream, not giving up or raising the white flag in spite of the challenges.. getting up every time they fall…. 🙂

For example there is Mandy Harvey (I like the line in her song “There is no one for me to blame ‘Cause I know the only thing in my way is me” )… 🙂 And then there is Calysta Bevier…. 🙂 And there is young Christopher Duffley

Just to name a few, and after observing others (too numerous to mention world over) and the life’s storms and challenges they face (be it hunger, conflict, social, weather, health, etc.), every day a struggle,  yet refuse to give up “It is not the size of the dog in a fight that matters, it is the size of the fight in the dog” (Mark Twain), they are the HEROS…. “Heroes are made by the paths they choose, not the powers they are graced with.” (Brodi Ashton)… 🙂
Therefore in spite of any issues and challenges this ole heathen has (I have degenerative disc disease of the lower spine and neck, arthritis in the joints, tinnitus in the ears), it is impossible for me to stand in front of a mirror, being negative, feeling sorry for myself, complaining and say “ I can’t’… 🙂

So, therefore,  I will always “positively” venture down the path and doing it my way…  🙂

 It is down the path least traveled I do go
To a rainbow filled horizon I  venture,
To seek, to learn, to know peace, to enjoy life
A path filled with wonderful adventure.

It is a place where one is accepted as who they are
A spirit kindled to life, when mortal born,
A free spirit coming from the depths within

It is a place where I know freedom of thought and being
I am what I am, don’t you see,

As I gather more memories, down that least traveled road.

So how long will my journey be, one would ask

Well, I had better close for now… finish preparing for change and make ready for new adventures to share and memories to make… but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise..  🙂
