“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” (Stephen Grellet) on the path least traveled…

Diary of the journey on the path least traveled..just letting the heart do the talking while the fingers do the walking while being different, being me… 🙂 Me 1 copy

( “I do not do, say or write something to been seen or heard… I  do, say or write something because it needed to be done, said or written…” ,  no nominations please, just sharing thoughts while exploring life  🙂 ).. 🙂

Hello Diary,

Have been busy the past week.. again preparing for the future and changes that are on the horizon… adjusting my sails and course as I follow my heart, and at the same time help others to help those in need, who are having great difficulty in life, especially through no fault of their own….  🙂

And though I browse the news today and see a world in conflict, I know there are many that do not make the news, but are tirelessly working to make this world a better place and I believe that one day it will happen “The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible.” ( Joel Brown)…  🙂

Today, I peer out my window
At a world..that seems cold and bleak,
A world of conflict, anger and hate
Creatures are suffering as I speak.

But here on the path, I have a dream
Accepting one as to who they believe and are
Of a world filled with happiness and peace
One’s life’s choices no one did bar.

And there is hope
Of a world filled with love one day,
A wish that could come true
For hope is the last to die...they say.

Not a world of race, color or gender
Nor closed minded ridicule or prejudice... you see,
But a world that respects another’s dream
Of what or who they wish to be.

So I peer out the window
Not with sadness, fear or sorrow,
But a heart filled with a dream
Of a world at peace tomorrow.

With decision made, and eyes on the horizon
It’s down the path least traveled I do venture,
Excitement fills the air, a smile on the face
Looking forward to a great adventure.

So my heart’s compass is pointed to the horizon
Sails set full, safe harbor fading in the distance, a faint glow to see,
And with a pocket full of memories, on the horizon are my dreams
So down the path least traveled I do venture, a spirit born free
                                                    ( Larry “Dutch” Woller )

Well, I had better close for now, the path is calling… perhaps I’ll be a rainbow in someone’s cloud and make their day a little brighter, but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise… 🙂

Hope your path is filled with peace, love and happiness and until we meet again… 🙂

May the love that you give
Always return to you,
That family and friends are many
And always remain true,
May your mind only know peace
No suffering or strife,
May your heart only know love and happiness
On your journey through life.

  1. You are right that it is a “world of conflict, anger and hate” but there are, as you say, lots of individuals trying to do the right thing and to be nice to the people around them. I think that as long as we manage that, we are not doing too badly.

  2. It’s true: there are many that do not make the news, but who are working to make this world a better place. Occasionally they do make the news. I find some of them for my Good News Tuesday post. Thank you for the good vibes!
