( “I do not do, say or write something to been seen or heard… I do, say or write something because it needed to be done, said or written…” , no nominations please, just sharing thoughts while exploring life 🙂 ).. 🙂
Though I so not dwell on leaving this mortal world often, once in awhile I contemplate on how I wish to be remembered, believe the following would be my epitaph…. 🙂 When I die Give what's left of me away To children And old men that wait to die. And if you need to cry, Cry for your brother Walking the street beside you. And when you need me, Put your arms Around anyone And give them What you need to give to me. I want to leave you something, Something better Than words Or sounds. Look for me In the people I've known Or loved, And if you cannot give me away, At least let me live on your eyes And not on your mind. You can love me most By letting Hands touch hands, By letting Bodies touch bodies, And by letting go Of children That need to be free. Love doesn't die, People do. So, when all that's left of me Is love, Give me away. (Epitaph, Merrit Malloy)But, until then, I have a lot of living and giving to do… 🙂
Hello Diary,
It has been a busy week with appointments, living life and dealing with life’s challenges, so having a relaxing weekend with a spot of tea, preparing for the tomorrows… ventured out to gather weather data this morning and my friend, Mr. Spider, greeted me as always…. 🙂
And a spot of tea, I contemplate my tomorrows…. 🙂 A peaceful morning, watching the sun arise Thoughts abound, while sipping on a spot of tea, While taking in Nature’s outdoor portrait Contemplating, on what Fate may have instore for me. Change is slowly coming, it whispers in the winds The door is slowly closing on past history, With a new awakening with the mind and spirit But the future is still shrouded in mystery. With the freedom of being different, in many ways No social shackles do this mortal wear, Do welcome change with open mind and spirit No fear, no worry or dread do I bear. Does change stop at mortal death, one wonders Or does it go on forever and ever, Will I ask the same at another time and place Somewhere past the 12th of Never? Will thought and spirit continue When, as in all things, my mortal time comes to an end, Or does all things cease to be, when To the grave, the mortal body Fate does send. Alas, but must deal with the present So now will store thoughts and musings yet to be told, For it’s down the path least traveled I do venture To search and hopefully find….what life, and Fate, may behold. ( Larry “Dutch” Woller )And with safe harbor fading in the background, eyes on the horizon and with sails set full, it is on down the path of life I venture… 🙂
Thought I would briefly share my thoughts, and shall close for now, bring my musings to an end… but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise… 🙂 Hope the path you choose is paved with love and happiness and until we meet again… May the love that you give Always return to you, That family and friends are many And always remain true, May your mind only know peace No suffering or strife, May your heart only know love and happiness On your journey through life. Hope life is all that you wish for it to be and until we meet again…
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your way,
May songbirds serenade your

May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.

This is lovely, Larry…💕 I find myself – more and more – in the same beautiful mind set, peaceful with what has gone before and wondering – without fear or worry – about what might (or might not) come next. Your blog is always a lovely way to start my day. Thank you so much…🙏💕

“Look for me In the people I’ve known “–that is a truth lots of people forget. We become who we are around. For better or worse.
OK, I was thinking about the beauty of your home, but the spider–couldn’t do it. Though I would love to see you with it.
