Yes, even with today’s world in turmoil, there is always hope for “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul – and sings the tunes without the words – and never stops at all.” (Emily Dickinson)… 🙂

HOPE IS

Hope is a feather floating in a bright blue sky
Hope is that sparkle that shines in your eyes.
Hope is a butterfly fluttering on the wind
Hope is good times spent with family and friends.

Hope is a newborn baby’s cry
Hope is a Mother’s lullaby.
Hope is the rainbow after a rain
Hope is the harvest of golden grain.

Hope is the light that keeps darkness at bay
Hope is the breeze on a hot summer day.
Hope is ever present and free of cost
Hope is the last thing ever lost.

Hope is staying positive when the going gets tough
Hope is seeking help when you feel you’ve had enough.
Hope is recovery from simmering sorrow
Hope is believing in a brighter tomorrow.

Hello Diary,

Taking a brief break in chasing dreams while venturing down the path of life to share a few thoughts… pleasant weather for past few days and ventured out to feed the fish in the pond…

pond fish

The pond is about 8 feet by 6 feet and averages 2 feet deep… seen the red hibiscus in full bloom…

And around the corner the hosta were blooming also…

hosta

Blooming is slowly coming to the end and are starting to preparing for the winter doldrums with fall on the horizon…. another indication of fall approaching are the spiders… this spider decided to use the car and the house…. 🙂

spider web

The web is near 5 feet across and the spider were approximately 4 inches across.. the spider tucked out of sight just before I took the picture… 🙂

It is definitely the time of year to have some kind of light should one venture outdoors at night as I seen this spider while gathering the weather data… 🙂

But, like all other creatures, even though they are different they have a place here on the path to seek out their destiny and follow their dreams…

The new year is rapidly approaching
As I contemplate the tomorrow,
Leaving some memories filled with happiness
A few memories filled with sorrow.

I peer out my window
At a world cold and bleak,
A world of conflict, anger and hate
Mortals are suffering as I speak.

But we have a dream
All my friends and I,
That one day there will be peace
No more mortals will die.

And there will be hope
Of a world filled with love one day,
A wish that could come true
For hope is the last to die…they say.

Not a world of race, color or gender
Nor closed minded ridicule or prejudice…you see,
But a world that respects another’s dream
Of what or who they wish to be.

So I peer out the window
Not with sadness, fear or sorrows,
But a heart filled with a dream of love and peace
For a world and all its tomorrows.
(Larry “Dutch” Woller)

Well, I had better close for now… more adventures in the winds and dreams to follow… “Oh, yesterday’s over my shoulder, so I can’t look back for too long, there’s just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can’t go wrong” (Jimmy Buffet).. but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise… 🙂

Until we meet again……

May your spirit only know peace
May your heart only know love
May all your dreams come true
May your life’s journey be filled with happiness
And life is all that you wish for it to be….
(Larry “Dutch” Woller)

    • Thank you for visiting!.. just follow your heart and you will not go wrong… 🙂

      Until we meet again..
May flowers always line your path
      and sunshine light your way,
      May songbirds serenade your
      every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.

  1. Lovely to hear from you again, and a beautiful post. Hope is the last to die – I think we have to nurture that little flame, even when it’s close to being blown out by a gust of wind, and keep it alive at all costs. As for the spider’s web, they are incredible but I hate spiders with a passion, the things terrify me! 😂

    Caz xx

  2. how interesting — they make more webs in the fall? — & here PBS is showing Charlotte’s Web over & over — I like that spiders eat the other bugs. when I see one indoors, I try to take it outside rather than kill it. unfortunately they can be so very. fragile… hope — yes, we call all use heaps of that. tx as always for a delightful post 🙂

    • Thank you for visiting!!.. yes, the spiders tend to make more webs in the fall, some taking the web down during the day and putting back up and night… 🙂

Hope all is well in your part of the universe and life is all that you wish for it to be!.. 🙂
