Sooooooooooooooooo,

It is down the path least traveled I shall go
To a rainbow filled horizon I venture,
To seek, to learn, know peace, to enjoy life
A path filled with wonderful adventure.

A place where one is accepted as who they are
A spirit kindled to life, when mortal born,
A being coming from the depths within
And not subject to ridicule and scorn.

A place where I know freedom of thought and being
I am what I am, don’t you see,
Neither this one, neither that one, but all the above
In a mortal world, a free spirit, that’s me.

I do not travel the path alone, you see
There are memories and spirits to behold,
Those that share… the joy and sadness
As I gather more memories, down that least traveled road.

So how long will my journey be, one would ask
Will I see the end of the path…ever?
The answer, I believe, lies on the horizon
Somewhere past… the 12th of Never….

So I shall bring my ramblings to an end
For there is one fact that I do know,
To reach the horizon, the 12th of Never

Hello Diary,

Have been busy preparing for a possible heat wave, maybe more storms and other life challenges but not concerned here on the path because “I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning how to sail my ship.” (Louisa May Alcott) and by learning how to sail my ship with open mind and heart, happiness lies within the spirit “It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” (Agnes Repplier )…. 🙂

Happiness is to have loved
Than have not loved at all,
To share love with another
To always heed one’s heart call.

Happiness is to follow one’s dream
To be who one wishes to be,
To live one’s own life one’s own way
Not live the life of another, you see.

Happiness is always waking up on
The green side of the grass,
Even though the day may be stormy
Knowing it too shall pass.

Happiness is knowing another
A understanding, caring friend,
Someone to share life’s memories with
A friendship to never end.

Happiness is to pen thoughts
Let the fingers do the walking,
Thoughtful words that come  from within
Because the heart does the talking.

Happiness is knowing when to end a poem
For it is down life’s highway I need to venture,
To gather more memories and thoughts to share
As I live, and enjoy, tomorrow’s new adventure.

And when the waters get a little rough, the skies turn stormy, have a heart filled with memories to see it through knowing there is always tomorrow and a better day…. 🙂

Well, I had better close for now…life is calling, adventures to live and more memories to make… but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise… 🙂
