Yes, in history’s past I peered into the sunlight and I had a dream… 🙂

Hello Diary,

Looked out the window last Wednesday morning and it appeared it looked like the North Pole… 🙂

And because I had most of the technology up and running, decided I would work on some important technology.. For over 10 years I have participated in a program created by the University of Berkeley call BOINC, there are many participating all over the world.. 🙂

What the program is about is using BOINC Manager, it allows reputable participating groups to use home computers to analyze data and there is a long list… anyone can do it if one wishes too… 🙂
What transpires is if one agrees to participate in the program, one downloads Manager and the selects the program on wishes to participate in…now, one has control over Manager to prevent over use, etc… once set up, Manger will download a certain amount of data, my computer will analyze that data and Manager will return the results, download more data on my PC and the process repeats itself and it is ongoing until I stop it… 🙂

One project is World Community Grid and Mapping Cancer…

Hopefully in time cancer will no longer exist… another project is Setihome…

It deals with the exploration of the universe and hopefully tell us where we have been, where we are going and what awaits us… another I use from time to time deals with climate change…

There a a few others that I work with from time to time also…. 🙂

I know my efforts are small compared to the big picture and because I ask for nothing in return, it is something like a small gift from me to the world… “I expect to pass through this world but once. Why do I do this one would ask?..because that is the way old friends do…. 🙂

Well, I had better close for now… life and that dream is a callin’.. “Life is complicated and not contained to a few ideologies or beliefs, therefore in order to better understand the universe, and me, I need to leave safe harbor, with open mind, and explore all of the universe, not just parts of it..…” (Larry “Dutch” Woller), but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise…. 🙂
