A new year is approaching, changes to be made, decisions, decisions… “If you don’t know where you’re going, you may miss it when you get there” ― (Kathleen Long, Chasing Rainbows).. 🙂

I awoke one morning, alone, in history’s past..
Left with a heart full of memories, a decision to make,
Confronted with two paths to my destiny..
Heart and mind to decide which one to take.

Take the one most traveled, the logical safe choice…
The one chosen by the multitudes..the human race,
Like sheep, following a path determined by another…
No self identity, all bearing the same face.

A most traveled path whose direction is chosen by a few
The rest to follow, ever so blind,
Their destiny not chosen by their own hand
Their fate determined, by a closed mind.

The other path less traveled, mysterious and unknown
Where one can be different, like me I confess,
Without fear of ridicule, bigotry  and hate
A path filled with love… and happiness.

A path less traveled where one can follow ones dreams
An open mind to see what others do not,
To live a life guided by one’s heart

Hello Diary,

It is a Sunday and I woke up to a wintry type morning with red skies…

And it reminds me of a saying “red skies in the morning, sailors warning”… the red indicates moisture in the air and the sun rising will heat and destabilize the atmosphere and could create weather (with summer like temperatures, thunderstorms) and they do have rain/snow forecasted for later today… thought I would take a brief moment to share some thoughts…

Did some reading yesterday but with the new year approaching and changes on the horizon, decided to start to upgrade technology, getting ready to bring in the new… I am currently working on two PCs, one will be set up for blogging, browsing, poetry, etc….

And the other will be for research, weather, business, etc…

Of course, one will back up the other if needed… does that mean I will get rid of the “old”?.. Noooooooooo… I have a old 9 inch tablet that will not be able to get online in the future…

And I have numerous CDs which I have been downloading onto a flash drive from time to time and uploaded on the little tablet (the tablet will not use CDs) and I have added speakers and the little tablet has become a first class stereo… I have located it near the center of the house and can listen to uninterrupted music all day long!!… 🙂

Also my old camera crashed and burned but rather than purchase a new camera, I dusted off an old smartphone I were not using….

And it is now officially “the camera”… all the photos I have taken for the past month have been by the phone.. 🙂

Well, I had better close for now… a easy chair, a cup of tea (too early for wine 🙂 ) and the ever faithful Kindle are waiting… but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise…
