“It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.” (Agnes Repplier ) on the path least traveled…

Diary of the journey on the path least traveled..just letting the heart do the talking while the fingers do the walking while being different, being me… 🙂

( “I do not do, say or write something to been seen or heard… I do, say or write something because it needed to be done, said or written…” , no nominations please, just sharing thoughts while exploring life 🙂 )

“The greatest challenge in life is to be our own person and accept that being different is a blessing and not a curse”.. (Kilroy Oldster)

Browsed the world a short time ago, so much turmoil, anger and closed mindedness.. puts many challenges in the path of someone who is trying to follow one’s dreams… one shouldn’t give up in spite of the hurdles that loom large!.. As Mark Twain said ““It is not the size of the dog in a fight that matters, it is the size of the fight in the dog”.. 🙂

Or some thoughts by Mr. Watts..
“Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when your hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit!”
(Wade Watts)

“If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can’t, you’re right”. Mary Kay Ash

[Chorus]
I’m a girl on fire
Walking through your street
With one guitar
And two dancing feet
Only one desire
That’s left in me
I want the whole damn world
To come dance with me

(Verse 1)
Come dance with me
I’m a hunter at bay
Come set you free
Over heartache and shame
I wanna see your bodies
Burning like the old, big sun
I wanna know what we’ve
Been learning and learning from

[Pre-Chorus]
Everybody want safety (safety, la)
Everybody want comfort (comfort, la)
Everybody want certain (certain, la)
Everybody but me

(Chorus)..

[Verse 2]
Come dance with me
Over heartache and range
Come set us free
Over panic and strange
I wanna see your bodies
Burning like the old, big sun
I wanna know what we’ve
Been learning and learning from

Hello Diary,

It’s a Monday and after a busy two weeks, believe I have the home and gardens ready for change and by looking and the weather forecast for this week, it is a good thing I have, to quote a line from a song by CCR “it looks like nasty weather”.. looking at the yard, change is coming… 🙂

leaves

Will make some minor changes indoors this week and then come November 1st will close the past chapters of history and start a new chapter..… “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” ( Maria Robinson )… 🙂

And speaking of history’s past, woke up this morning to a very foggy morning…

fog south
Which reminded me of those old black and white horror movies of decades ago… how can one forget “The Hound Of The Baskevilles”… 🙂 ahhhhhhhhh, those were the days and while they may have become history, they shall remain in our hearts… 🙂

And speaking of days, I had better bring this day to a close, prepare for new adventures tomorrow as I continue my venture to whatever destiny has instore for me….but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin” and the creeks don’t rise…

And remember, Diary, at times life can be like a swamp and “When one suddenly finds oneself in a swamp up to one’s armpits in alligators, it is difficult to remember the objective was to drain the swamp” (Larry “Dutch” Woller) sooooooooooooo, don’t give up your dream because “The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible.” – (Joel Brown)..

Yes, happiness comes from within, so be who you are and be proud of it… 🙂

Hey, look me over
Lend me an ear
Fresh out of clover
Mortgage up to here
But don’t pass the plate, folks
Don’t pass the cup
I figure whenever you’re down and out
The only way is up

And I’ll be up like a rose bud
High on the vine
Don’t thumb your nose
But take a tip from mine
I’m a little bit short of the elbow room
But let me get me some
And look out world
Here I come

      Until we meet again..
      May you always have a
      Sunbeam to warm you
      A moonbeam to charm you
      And a sheltering angel
      So nothing can harm you.
      (Irish Saying)
