It is a Thursday and quiet so far but storms on the horizon… have been busy the past few days preparing for the storms and the weekend.. even with a few aches and pains, taking advantage of the quiet weather to work outdoors….”I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one.” (Author Unknown)..

Here on the prairies there is the possibility of storms end of the week and weekend… “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain”. (Author Unknown)…

Unfortunately for those living in the southeast, especially in the land of gators and big snakes (Florida, USA) there is a big wind approaching… “There are things that we don’t want to happen but have to accept, things we don’t want to know but have to learn, people we can’t live without but have to let go.” (Nancy Stephan)…

And it looks like it will be a weekend event for the most part….

S: Tropical Storm – wind speed between 39 MPH and 73 MPH
H: Hurricane – wind speed between 74 MPH and 110 MPH
M: Major Hurricane – wind speed greater than 110 MPH

But weather can change in a heartbeat and hopefully it will change for the better and there will be little (if not any) suffering, especially for those who find themselves without comfort, support or a home… for those people and all creatures;

they are calling the wind Dorian but here on the prairies it is sometimes known as “Mariah”.. 🙂

And speaking of storms, had better close for now…prepare for life’s challenges and follow the dream in spite of the challenges.. but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise…

Yes, life will put many types of storms in ones path, but here on the path “I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning how to sail my ship.” (Louisa May Alcott) and for us dreamers and lovers (and hopefully everyone) after each storm there is always a rainbow… 🙂
