Rain, wind, chicken and London on the path least traveled…

Dear Diary Page 58…

Hello Diary..

After all the exciting news from Punxsutawney Phil about his forecast, settled in for a somewhat dreary, rainy, windy day outdoors, no storms as of yet….a lot of wind though, must be the weather as all the politicians are gone trying to get elected… 😀

That being said, Bree purchased some boneless, skinless chicken breast that they had on sale the other day and decided that this rainy day would be a good day to make some homemade popcorn chicken….designated me the cook, so after getting chores finished, started in….

Used some Fryin’ Magic and vegetable oil, cooked up a batch to put in the freezer.. of course, Bree was there with every tick of time to make sure I did it properly and used the proper amount of Fryin’ Magic…

Got them all finished and then put them on a cookie sheet and in the freezer to freeze overnight… that way they will not freeze together and tomorrow I can get them out and put in a Ziploc bag and back in the freezer and get out however many Bree needs at any given time… 😀

While doing that, were listening to one of my favorite radio stations live, Classic FM from London, England…how do I do that one may ask?.. I downloaded a site called TuneIn which is free ( there is a upgrade that requires a fee) which has over 100,00 stations live streaming worldwide… I have the site on a old 10” laptop/tablet…

Classic FM plays classical and contemporary music as well as some other music and when I turned it on this morning, the first song I heard was from a soundtrack of a movie that would be one of the first major films that I would see, it was in 1960 and the name of the song was; Exodus, which was the name of the movie…

With that being said, shall close now and finish the day later…possible stormy weather later today, perhaps some snow tomorrow.. and so it goes as we venture down the path least traveled… will return again one day, Fate be willin’ and the creeks don’t rise….
