Feeling goovy on the path least traveled

Dear Diary Page 31…
Hello Diary,
Time to bring a busy week to a close and active it has been, keeping it brief (is that cheering I hear?.)….have a good deal ready for winter ( a taste of it this weekend… 😀 ) outdoors, the inside more or less ready and, now, will spend a casual weekend making plans for winter and preparations to be ready for minor surgery next month…
But for the most part enjoying the weekend, slowing down and feeling groovy..

What do these ingredients have in common, one may ask?

noodle soup veggies

Wait for it ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. Dutch’s Hearty Chicken Noodle soup… 😀 (going to have that Sunday with cheesy, garlic, bagel with ham toasted in the oven…)

That being said, will close (not sure when I shall return) with some words of thought…
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

And, in keeping with the groovy mood, finish with a song performed by Andre Rieu (with lyrics ) called; The Red Rose Café… a good song to sing at the local pub, especially the chorus and the folks in the video are a happy lot.. 😀
And, so it goes, on the path least traveled…..

The Red Rose Café….

They come from the farms and the factories too
They all soon forget who they are
The cares of today, well, they’re soon washed away
As they sit at a stool by the bar

The girl with green eyes in the Rolling Stones shirt
Doesn’t look like she works on the land
And the man at the end, he’s a very good friend
Of a man who sells cars second hand

Chorus…
Down at the Red Rose Cafe in the harbor
There by the port just outside Amsterdam
Everyone shares in the songs and the laughter
Everyone there is so happy to be there

Well, the salesmen relax with a few pints of beer
They try not to talk about trade
The poet won’t write any verses tonight
But he may sing a sweet serenade

So pull up a chair and forget about life
It’s a good thing to do now and then
And if you like it here then I have an idea
Tomorrow let’s all meet again

Chorus…
Down at the Red Rose Cafe in the harbor
There by the port just outside Amsterdam
Everyone shares in the songs and the laughter
Everyone there is so happy to be there
